Giveaway Wins!

So I have done my nails  for work a few times but I've had a few posts in the vault that I wanted to get posted first! Some long overdue thank yous!

Here are some awesome things that I got from some giveaways awhile back from some awesome ladies!

I got these four gorgeous Beautifully Disney polishes from Stephanie at Imperfectly Painted. They are Mistress of Evil, Provincial Mademoiselle, Ocean Mist, and Diva of the Deep. These are only available at Disney Parks! And they are gorgeous! Thank you so much!

These next 6 pictures are 6 MoYou stamping plates that I won from Debbie at The Crumpet. Thank you so much! I love them!

Explorer Collection 03. They even asked Debbie if I wanted this plate because it's an XL and all the others weren't! How kind and awesome are MoYou!

Tourist Collection 01. Love it!

Tourist Collection 04. Needed this because I needed the Adam/God hands, I love the Italian Renaissance!

Ok, does anyone else think that the Tourist Lady looks like Christina Hendricks from Mad Men and FireFly?

Sailor Collection 03. Love all the designs!

Sailor Collection 04. The octopus tentacles! Yes!

And doesn't the Sailor lady look like Heather Graham?

Suki Collection 04. The designs! Love them all!

And because I needed to find someone the Suki lady looks like I immediately thought of Yaya Han (because I was watching Heroes of Cosplay when I got these plates!)

I chose Yaya because she is always changing her look and her hair. She creates beautiful Cosplay costumes!

Haul Time!

So, it's been awhile since I posted any type of haul post. So this post includes about 3+ months worth of hauls. Let's get to it, shall we?

I decided to see what was so great about Poshe (haven't tried it yet!), I've been using Barielle Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender and Barielle Fortifying Nail Builder for my Barielle review posts. I bought these two Barielles to give my reviews a full Barielle experience. And I really like them!

Three Matte Coats! Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat, Essie Matte About You, and OPI Matte Top Coat. This brings my matte top coats up to about 6 now! They are all different right? I've seen the posts! :)

So after I did my first Barielle review I feel in love with their formula and decided to buy four more. And here they are: Peanut Butter, Green Apple Chew, Solid As A Rock, and Go Lightly.

Some Sinful Colors that are suppose to be good for stamping! Haven't tried them yet. :) Pragmatic, Bananappeal, Mardi Gras, VIP.

More stamping polishes! Konad Princess Special Polish in Chocolate, Olive Green, and Light Grey. Light Grey looks more purple to me, so we shall see how it stamps!

Finger Paints Peacock Portrait, Rockin' Renaissance, and Rockin' Gunmetal

OPI: Russian Navy, My Vampire Is Buff (yep, finally got it!), You Don't Know Jacques -Matte, and Alpine Snow -Matte

China Glaze Papaya Punch (I needed more orange in my collection) and Ciate Chinchilla (got this from my Arizona Meet Up! It's grey!)

China Glaze FYI. Yep, I found this at my Beauty Supply Store, it was their last one. I got it for $3.75! Woot Woot!

My First NailNation 3000's! Glow Worm, Never Mint to Hurt You, Rumple Stiltskin, and Carpe Diem

Nail Art stuff! Art Club Nail Art Duos (Pen and Striper) in Holo Steel, White, and Black. Essence Nail Art Freestyle and Tip Painter in Mysterious Black and Silver Surfer. Essence French Manicure & Pedicure Pen and Essence Nail Art Tattoo Pen (bought two of these because they are so awesome for writing on nails!).

MoYou Kitty Collection 11

MoYou Pro Collection 04 (obviously been used, and not cleaned up too great! Whoops!)

MoYou Suki Collection 01 (too pretty to use!)

Sugar Bubbles SB 013 and SB 014. You can see the Taco Bell dog on the lower left of SB 013. And Stitch is on that plate too with owls! SB 014 has The Little Prince, Jareth, ET, Star Trek! Woot!

Plates that I bought from Messy Mansion! EDM03, EDM04, MM14, and MM19.

Vivid Lacquer Plates: VL020, VL018, and the Ninja Plate VL022 that I got for pre-ordering the other two!

Clinique Hi Sweetie. I got this with a bunch of other Clinique things when I bought $25 worth of product at Dillard's. Had to look up the name because it's not on the bottle.......had a good chuckle when I saw the name! Doctor Who reference! Love it!

So you all know that Bundle Monster came out with that Create Your Own set awhile back right? I waited for awhile, unsure (and broke!) about wanting it. But then saw you can buy their plates individually for $1.99 each! So in total I bought 7 plates, these four from that set and another three from the first two sets.

This was so much cheaper and I got the ones that I wanted and none of those weird ones that I would never use! But I can't sell my weird ones with sets I already have because I am the type of person who can't break up a set once I have it!

So that's my haul for the last little while. With my new job, I have a feeling there will be more haul posts! Polish and makeup! I have to remind myself to behave so I can at least get a paycheck and not spend it all there! :)

Some Good News!

Happy Elephant on Make A Gif
make animated gifs like this at MakeAGif

I got a job! At Ulta! And I start today! I'm so nervous and excited! I'm happy though, like the dancing elephant above!

This job will both good and bad for my blog. Good: discount = more polish! (Maybe not so much of a paycheck because I might buy up the store!) Bad: less time spent on blog, for now. Since it is only part-time I am not sure yet as to how much free time I'll have to devote to the blog. But I am still going to try! Because, like I said, it's only part-time! And I got to show off my stuff that I buy, right?

I'm just really nervous as this is the first time that I have worked since leaving my job last summer due to my anxiety. So of course this change is making me anxious, but that is why I chose only a part-time position to ease myself back into the workforce!

So please be patient. I do have a haul post in the works as well as a Birchbox review and a butterfly mani! And I'll have my Barielle reviews when they send me new pretties!

So I do have things in the works! A bonus to this job is that I get to wear polish and be crazy about it! How many people can say that! Woot woot!

Barielle Vibrants Spring 2014 Review

Today I have the second part to the Spring Collection from Barielle; these are the Vibrants. They are "rich, bright, energetic shades that are a little sassy yet smooth". There are some really gorgeous colors in this line!

I am still using the Nail Strengthener Cream, the Intensive Nail Renewal Oil that I received for my first review.
** I just want to say that I decided to use all Barielle products in these swatches. So since I did not request a base or top coat from them I decided to purchase my own with my own money. I chose to buy Fortifying Nail Builder with Calcium Fluoride and Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender
The order that I chose has nothing to do with how much I like them I like to go in the order that are listed on the paper they send with the polishes. :)

Fire Me Up: "a deep, fiery bright orange". The description is perfect!  A beautiful deep orange! I don't own many oranges, so I am really excited about this one.

The formula for Fire Me Up is fabulous! This is two coats with one coat of top coat. It's super shiny even without the top coat.

Take Me Shopping: "a bright, hot pink". This color is really hard to capture on my camera. I had to color correct it a bit so it didn't look so orange. It has a bit of a coral/salmon hue to it.

The formula on Take Me Shopping is also fabulous, this is one coat! One coat opaque! (also has one coat of top coat).

My City Apartment: "a light gray". What's this? A gray! Yippee! So excited! It has a bit of a blue undertone to it.

The formula for My City Apartment was fabulous! (note to self, look up a new word to take place of "fabulous"). This is two coats and one coat of top coat. I just love love love that there is a gray in this collection!

Money Talks: "a mint green". A bit of a mint green.mint blue. But very pretty and vintage!

The formula for Money Talks isn't that great. It was thicker and therefore hard to apply evenly and with out drag marks. But this is two coats of Money Talks and one coat of top coat. The top coat helps to smooth it all out!

Designer Shoes: "a purple with bluish tones". I think the description is perfect. And I don't have many polishes this color!

The formula for Designer Shoes was perfect! This is one coat with one coat of top coat! Yep one! I love Barielle and their one coat opaques! Saves so much time!

First Class Ticket: "a sky blue". I think periwinkle when I see this color, but sky blue fits too!

This formula was a bit tricky but not anywhere thick like Money Talks. No, First Class Ticket, was just weird. I shook the bottle like I normally do but I still had two different blues show up on my nail. You can see this as my nails look kind of swirly. It just didn't want to fully mix together. But it is still a pretty color! And this is one coat and one coat of top coat!

So which of these were your favorite?

The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - Victoria's Secret

Ok, so I saved the best for last! I asked my niece what other brands should I do. Well, she works at Victoria's Secret, so she suggested that and I had to include the PINK line. I thought and thought about how to pull it off. I check the internet for different ideas and found a few to get me started: this one really helped out, I don't know who it is by so I can't give credit. If you know, please let me know!

For the PINK nail I used two coats Milani White on the Spot. I used a pink Sharpie for the words and Wet 'N Wild Black Creme to create the "dog". Yep, I call that thing very loosely a dog because it's more like a blob with legs? Hahahaha!

For the blingy nail I used three coats of China Glaze Glistening Snow and two coats of China Glaze Techno. I love how it turned out! So blingy and perfect for Victoria's Secret! I then used an Essence Nail Art Tattoo pen that I found at Ulta to create the V and S. Let me tell you, that pen is awesome! So much more precise than a Sharpie! Need to get me some more to have on hand!

For my over-the-top ring finger I used two coats of Color Club He Loves Me. Since I don't have much practice with rhinestones I had to ask around how to get that many rhinestones onto to my nail and have them stay. I used a regular top coat (Sally Hansen) that took longer to dry and placed the stones on individually to recreate the stripes that you find on their bags! So I'm not really into 3D items on my nails, but I love this!

On my pinkie I used two coats of Sinful Colors VIP and dotted it with Color Club He Loves Me. All topped off with HK Girl Top Coat. You guys, I really didn't want to take this off! This is the first mani in a really long time that I really really loved! I didn't want to take it off!

Had to show you a macro of the too blingy nails! How cool are they! Bah! I love them!

Don't forget to check out the other ladies and their brands!
