The Digit-al Dozen Does Music - Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows

Day 4 of The Digit-al Dozen Does Music brings us to a specific song: Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbow by Lesley Gore. For some reason (thank you Simpsons) this song gets stuck in my head.....a lot. And I really only know the line that has the title!

And now after watching this, I guess I knew the majority of the song with just knowing the title! :)

So, if you can't tell, my index finger is sunshine! I used Sinful Colors Unicorn (two coats) as the base and stamped using Klean Colors Metallic Orange and Bundle Monster BM301 for the rays. I also added Orly Shinning Star to make it sparkle. (Did you catch that? Shinning Star is also a song title! wink wink!)

Next up are my lollipops! Essence No More Drama (two coats) for the base and  Konad Black with Klean Colors Metallic Green, Klean Colors Metallic Aqua, and Klean Colors Metallic Fuschia for the lollipops. I used Cheeky stamping plate CH9 for the images.

My rainbow is Essie Borrowed & Blue (two coats) using Klean Colors Metallic Aqua, Klean Colors Metallic Yellow, Klean Colors Metallic Green, and Klean Colors Metallic Fuschia with Konad Q1 for the rainbow!

And finally more rainbow pinky finger (I needed rainbows to be plural!) I used Essence Romeo as my base with Essence Hello Holo (two coats) for the shimmery holo goodness!

Just another quick image of the fun colors and rainbow goodness! :)

And here is the clip that forever got this song stuck in my head! You are welcome! :)

Teal Tuesdays - Something Sweet!

Teal Tuesdays! I'm back! Feels like I haven't done this in forever! But I only missed one week. >_< Well, this week we decided on Something Sweet. There could be so many interpretations of this! But I had one image in mind for this mani the whole time.

A nice simple stamped mani! Sweet and simple! :) I hope you all see the Something Sweet that I have going for this mani! :) I used one coat of Essence Bella. I really love this polish, applies flawlessly! :) I stamped using Barry M Silver Foil Effects. I used Bundle Monster BM 306 for most of the mani and Konad Q1 on my ring finger! Yummy and delicious! :)

Another shot, more in the sun. Sometimes it's grand to have a simple sweet mani! :)

Teal Tuesdays was started because teal is unloved and needed its own day of celebration!
Teal is a medium to dark bluish green color of low saturation; a dark cyan.

Adventures in Stamping: The Sky's the Limit

This week the challenges was the sky is the limit, which meant anything you would find in the sky. I immediately thought of my Konad plate Q1. And so that is what I used. All of these images are from the Q1 plate. My base is Essence You Belong to Me. The polishes I used to stamp with are: Konad Special White, Konad Special Black, KleanColor Metallic Yellow, Metallic Fuschia, and Metallic Green.

Here is Essence You Belong to Me on it's own. Isn't it the perfect sky blue!? This is two coats with one coat of Seche Vite.

Teal Tuesdays - Accent Nail

So sadly I had to clip/trim my nails down. Had a huge break in one and one was peeling. First time I've done this this drastic since using Nail Envy. And now they are nubbins! :'(   And you'll see that some are even more nubbin than others, sorry for the unevenness. -cringe- But I don't want to make the others even shorter, so hopefully you don't mind! Anyways, onto the Tealicure!

Waaaa! Nubbins! My pointer and middle fingernails look a ton longer in the picture but it really isn't that bad in person. Sorry!

Today we chose to do an accent nail. Now that I barely have a nail full nail designs totally fit! :) hahaha! I used China Glaze Custom Kicks as my base. There is more shimmer in the bottle than that actually shows on the nail :P. I then used a whole bunch of Kleancolors to stamp with (Metallic Green, Metallic Purple, Metallic Fuschia, and Metallic White). I used Konad plate Q. I promise I did really! I also added Orly Prisma Gloss Silver to add sparkle!

I followed Jennius' Multicoloured Stamping tutorial at Gold Speck Nails. It's really awesome and you should all go read it! :)

Crazy macro of accent nail. See, you can see the candies and shapes and the cupcake from Konad Q1. See, I used it! :) Didn't turn out like I wanted but oh well, at least it's still fun! Maybe? :)

Here is China Glaze Custom Kicks on it's own. Gorgeous teal with "gold shimmer". You can kind of see it on the macro shot...sort of.

Again sorry for the uneven nails!
