Spring Challenge: Unicorn Magic Day

Today is Leap Day and it exists because of Unicorn Magic! So today's challenge is Unicorn Magic Day. I decided to use Sinful Colors Unicorn (quite fitting I think) I add CND Crimson Sparkle, Finger Paints Flecked, Motley, and Twisted, as well as a bit of China Glaze Fairy Dust. I guess what turned out is Unicorn Pee! :)

Couldn't capture the flakie goodness of this mani.

Spring Challenge Day 5 Spring Clean

Today's challenge is to wear a color that isn't in season. Well, I don't really listen to what's "in season". I buck all trends (ok, not all).  :) So I looked through my stash and decided on a nice autumn color. This is OPI Holiday Glow, from the Holiday 2009 collection. This polish is from my very first swap! I love this polish a lot! A gorgeous brown with a hint of red, maybe even a bit of purple? But it is so shimmery and sparkly! It has a ton of gold micro glitter with some bronze micro glitter thrown in too! This is two coats.

Here it is in direct sun. I could have probably done three coats so it was as sheer in some places (like my ring finger). Look at the sparkle and shimmer!

Shimmery! Sparkly! Goodness! Love it!

Spring Challenge Day 2 - Spring Pink!

Day 2 is Your Favorite Spring Pink. I love pink, and I have a lot, but for some reason I don't wear all that much! Wait, you might be saying to yourself that you have seen this before. You have. It was the base for my Adventures in Stamping this past Sunday. But I love it so much I thought I would show it you again!

It is OPI Sparrow Me the Drama, a gorgeous pink creme with tips (hand drawn!) done in OPI Steady as She Rose.
Yep! A Pirates of the Caribbean mani! Woot! :)

Spring Challege Day 1 - Valentines!

Here is day 1 for the The Purple Crumpet Fairy Spring Challenge (TPCFSC or Spring Challenge)! Valentines! I was almost tempted to post the one from Sunday, but I didn't. It was too close together! So I did a new mani! This is OPI Be a Dahlia Won't You. It is a gorgeous bright bright pink with glass flecked shimmer! Loverly! It is from the OPI Nice Stems collection. It is also among the first polishes I bought when this addiction hoarding hobby began!

I used Konad Special White to stamp with using Konad plate M83. Need to work a bit on placement of stamp but it still works and I love it! :) But could I just leave it at that? Nope.

I added a coat of OPI I Lily Love You, also from the Nice Stems collection. Gorgeous multicolored iridescent glitter of varying sizes in a sheer pink base! Love! And look at those big fatties on my index finger and middle finger! Fatty flakes! :)

This is such an awesome challenge! Much more laid back! (I don't think I'll be able to do them all!)
