The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland: Blinged Out Snowflakes

Day four of The Digit-al Dozen does Winter Wonderland brings some blinged out snowflakes and icicles! I saw this image on pinterest by lauramerino12 and knew I had to do this! Her version is flawless! After completing mine I saw that FingerFood also did a version of these last year! I love being inspired by other nail artists, just wish I could do it more justice. :)

I used Milani White on the Spot (two coats) and stamped using BarryM Silver Foil Effects (also used for dots and icicles) and QA58 plate. Added some HK Girl Top Coat and some rhinestones.

The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland: Holiday Stripes or Daleks?

Another day of The Digit-al Dozen Does Winter Wonderland and today I have a tape mani in holiday colors or are they holiday Daleks? Hmmmmm.......

I was inspired to create these when I saw Bad Girl Nails do these in blue. I think they are perfect for the holidays!

I used Orly Mirrorball as my base (two colors). How amazing is this polish! I then used China Glaze Red-Y & Willing and Models Own Golden Green. I used Poshe to help hold the rhinestones in place!

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents: Geometric - Gallifreyan

So it's another month which means another Nail Challenge Collaborative theme! This month it is Geometric! And today I have so random geometric designs which could almost be Gallifreyan writing!

I am super please with how these turned out! So simple but very bold and the same time! :) I used two coats of China Glaze Recycle then stamped using Konad White and Emily de Molly EDM03 (which I got because some of the designs look like Gallifreyan!). I thought it needed just a bit more of something so I added a few pink rhinestones and sealed it all with HK Girl Top Coat.

What do you think? Would The Doctor Approve? :)

The Digit-al Dozen Does The Terrific Twos - Sapphire

Today's Terrific Two prompt is Sapphire, the birthstone for September. I decided to make a sapphire setting for a ring. Kind of ended up looking like the Heart of the Ocean (near, far, where ever you are.......).

Used two coats of Zoya Farah for my base. I dolloped a little OPI Unfor-Gretta-Bly Blue for my sapphire. I sealed it all with Poshe Top Coat. I then placed some rhinestones around it to complete the setting.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Black & Week: Flower

This is my second post for the Black and White theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative and today I chose to do a simple flower (loosely based on Polished Elegance's Doodle Flower, she does it way better!). I haven't done that many free-hand flowers so I am still struggling to find my own take on it, to find my own skill/talent for it.

I used one coat of Milani White on the Spot. I used black acrylic paint to create the flower, then I used Art Club's Black to create the black lines. I used Poshe top coat to seal it all in and hold the rhinestone in place.

I really love the way this turned out! So much so that's going to be hard to take it off to create the other two manis needed for this challenge! Is it me? Or do the plain striped nails look like abstract stormtroopers? Because that's totally what I see! :)

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents Black & White:

Another month with The Nail Challenge Collaborative! This month the theme is Black & White. There are so many possibilities that come to mind when I think of manis using just those two colors. There is something just clean and crisp about using these two colors.

I used one coat of Milani White on the Spot. I stamped  with Konad Black and MoYou Suki 04. I then added some rhinestones and a black heart (where the stamp didn't transfer but I love the look it created!). I used Poshe as my top coat.

The Digit-al Dozen Does Metal Week: Saran Wrap Gold!

I know that I've been quiet for a while. Sorry about that. Last week was such a crazy week! So glad it's done! I hope to more active on my blog now that that week is gone! Well, another month means another Digit-al Dozen theme! This month it's Metal. Ok, this week really kicked me in the butt! I had such a hard time coming up with ideas! Today's though, I absolutely love how it turned out!

I started with two coats of Wet n Wild Black Creme, added a coat of Poshe top coat. I let it totally dry. Then I used BarryM Foil Effects Gold and did the saran wrap method. And it actually worked! Yes! Finally! I added the french tips using Art Club Black. Topped with Poshe Top Coat and rhinestones for some elegance!

I am totally loving this!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - Victoria's Secret

Ok, so I saved the best for last! I asked my niece what other brands should I do. Well, she works at Victoria's Secret, so she suggested that and I had to include the PINK line. I thought and thought about how to pull it off. I check the internet for different ideas and found a few to get me started: this one really helped out, I don't know who it is by so I can't give credit. If you know, please let me know!

For the PINK nail I used two coats Milani White on the Spot. I used a pink Sharpie for the words and Wet 'N Wild Black Creme to create the "dog". Yep, I call that thing very loosely a dog because it's more like a blob with legs? Hahahaha!

For the blingy nail I used three coats of China Glaze Glistening Snow and two coats of China Glaze Techno. I love how it turned out! So blingy and perfect for Victoria's Secret! I then used an Essence Nail Art Tattoo pen that I found at Ulta to create the V and S. Let me tell you, that pen is awesome! So much more precise than a Sharpie! Need to get me some more to have on hand!

For my over-the-top ring finger I used two coats of Color Club He Loves Me. Since I don't have much practice with rhinestones I had to ask around how to get that many rhinestones onto to my nail and have them stay. I used a regular top coat (Sally Hansen) that took longer to dry and placed the stones on individually to recreate the stripes that you find on their bags! So I'm not really into 3D items on my nails, but I love this!

On my pinkie I used two coats of Sinful Colors VIP and dotted it with Color Club He Loves Me. All topped off with HK Girl Top Coat. You guys, I really didn't want to take this off! This is the first mani in a really long time that I really really loved! I didn't want to take it off!

Had to show you a macro of the too blingy nails! How cool are they! Bah! I love them!
