The Digit-al Dozen Does It Again: Halloween

Day 2 of The Digit-al Dozen Does It Again! And today is Halloween. I knew what I wanted to do right away. I have these awesome decals from RLR Creations Nail Art, and who doesn't like Jack Skellington right? And these decals apply so easy and wonderful!

I started with two coats of Milani Black Swift and two coats of Milani White on the Spot. I then attempted that waterfall design by Nailasaurus (hers is sooo better), bahahahahaha! My waterfall was a bust (will try it again another time) but I am loving how this all turned out. :)

I wanted it to look like Jack's stripes but I liked how it ended up. I then dry brushed the extra little white lines to add a more sketch-y like quality to the mani. I used Milani White on the Spot for the white. Topped it all off with HK Girl Top Coat.

The dry brushing really reminded my of Edward Gorey's drawings which is who Tim Burton gets a lot of his inspiration! :) I love Gashlycrumb Tinies!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Love and Heartbreak - Owl Love

So of course I had to give you all some owl love! :) This is the first time in a really long time that I have used water decals. And I love them! I think I should have cut them a bit smaller and there are some bumps but the are so cute! I got these (and more) from RLR Creations Nail Art. She has so many fabulous designs and has great customer service!

Simple design but I didn't want to detract from the decals or the polish. This is Essence The Dawn Is Broken. A gorgeous taupe-grey with shimmer and speckles! Love this kind of polish! I topped this off with HK Girl top coat.

Here it is all alone. So purdy no?
