The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - Victoria's Secret

Ok, so I saved the best for last! I asked my niece what other brands should I do. Well, she works at Victoria's Secret, so she suggested that and I had to include the PINK line. I thought and thought about how to pull it off. I check the internet for different ideas and found a few to get me started: this one really helped out, I don't know who it is by so I can't give credit. If you know, please let me know!

For the PINK nail I used two coats Milani White on the Spot. I used a pink Sharpie for the words and Wet 'N Wild Black Creme to create the "dog". Yep, I call that thing very loosely a dog because it's more like a blob with legs? Hahahaha!

For the blingy nail I used three coats of China Glaze Glistening Snow and two coats of China Glaze Techno. I love how it turned out! So blingy and perfect for Victoria's Secret! I then used an Essence Nail Art Tattoo pen that I found at Ulta to create the V and S. Let me tell you, that pen is awesome! So much more precise than a Sharpie! Need to get me some more to have on hand!

For my over-the-top ring finger I used two coats of Color Club He Loves Me. Since I don't have much practice with rhinestones I had to ask around how to get that many rhinestones onto to my nail and have them stay. I used a regular top coat (Sally Hansen) that took longer to dry and placed the stones on individually to recreate the stripes that you find on their bags! So I'm not really into 3D items on my nails, but I love this!

On my pinkie I used two coats of Sinful Colors VIP and dotted it with Color Club He Loves Me. All topped off with HK Girl Top Coat. You guys, I really didn't want to take this off! This is the first mani in a really long time that I really really loved! I didn't want to take it off!

Had to show you a macro of the too blingy nails! How cool are they! Bah! I love them!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - Disney

So I've had a mani pinned (click on the link to be taken to CutePolish's YouTube video to show how to create the castle) on my Pinterest board for a while and thought I could never recreate it. I was too scared! But I thought I would give it a shot for this week, because I love Disney! And Disneyland is like my home away from home.

Disneyland will always hold a special place in my heart. It is where my parents met, in line for The Matterhorn. For Christmas after my mother died, us kids chipped in and bought a tile dedicated to my parents! My Dad has a small wooden replica of it in his bedroom. These tiles are in between Disneyland and California Adventures. (heart added for privacy.)  :)

I use to live near Disneyland when I was little, I was actually born in Anaheim where it is located. But I remember my Dad telling us that Disneyland was too far away and that's why we couldn't visit a lot. Um, yeah, nope! My brother and I timed it one time when we went back to visit California. An hour. An hour away from Disneyland. Gee, thanks Dad! When we told him that he laughed and said, "but you didn't know that when you were little!".

I started out with Barielle Go Lightly, I believe at 3, maybe 4 coats (very sheer). I then added China Glaze Fairy Dust, because, uh duh! Disney and fairy dust go perfectly together! I used acrylic paint to create the castle and Wet 'N Wild Black Creme for the "D". I topped it off with HK Girl Top Coat.

I really loved how this turned out! I was so surprised at how straight my lines turned out using the really long scary striping brush!

Have you done any nail art that you were scared to do? Did it work out?

The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - Vespa

So as soon as we I saw what week it was I knew I had to use this stamp! Yep, a Vespa stamp! Thank MoYou for such awesome stamping plates! And check out these holos! They are Nail Nation 3000 holos! I chose them because of their colors and holo, they reminded me of the Vespas! Aren't those Vespas so stinkin' cute! The above photos is taken in the sun.

This photo is under my OttLite. I really love how this turned out! I used Nail Nation 3000 in Glow Worm, Never Mint to Hurt You, and Rumple Stiltskin. I stamped using Color Club Revvvolution and MoYou Tourist plate 04. The little hearts on my pinkie are ones that I created with a dotting tool. And it is all topped off with HK Girl Top coat.

Under my OttLite again, wanted to show you the Nail Nation 3000 polishes on their own, each are three coats and their formulas are fabulous! You can see that Rumple Stilyskin still has a bit of visible nail line, just a hint of it showing.

The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - Taco Bell

Today I have for you Taco Bell! Do you remember the little chihuahua from the Taco Bell commercials? I loved her! Miss her too, found out he died a few years ago in 2009.

I started with two coats of Milani White on the Spot I then created the speech bubble using OPI My Vampire is Buff (yep, that's right! I finally bought it! Woot! Woot!) and used a Sharpie to write "¡Yo quiero Taco Bell!". I stamped using Barielle My Tan Blazer and used Wet N Wild Black Creme for her eyes and Sugar Bubbles SB013 plate. I did a stamping decal because I wasn't sure how well My Tan Blazer would stamp and show up. So I tested it, liked it and then just used that one! For the Taco Bell logo I used China Glaze First Mate, Barielle Sexy Mood, and Sinful Colors Bananappeal. All topped off with HK Girl Top Coat!

Below is my favorite Taco Bell commercial!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Brands Week - M&Ms

The Digit-al Dozen are back in the house! This week is all about Brands, and today I thought I would start out with some M&Ms! The magical cure all pills! Right? Don't M&Ms just make you feel better?

So, sadly, this did not turn out as I had planned. But such is life, I ate some M&Ms and edited the photos anyways! :) Hahahaha! I used two coats of Milani White on the Spot for my base with: Color Club Mamba (red), Barielle Fire Me Up (orange), China Glaze First Mate (blue), China Glaze Starboard (green), and OPI Get In The Expresso Lane (brown). All topped off with HK Girl Top Coat.
*edit: I used a white Sharpie paint pen. It wasn't the best idea, kind of pooled paint all over.

So what do you think? Do you like M&Ms? What are your favorite kinds? I love peanut butter and the plain ones! And I love trying out the seasonal ones they have been putting lately!
