Day 19 of Indie Month and another green brought to you by my awesome swap with Nailpolish is My Crack. Today it is Nostalgic Nail Lacquer: Envy. This is one in The Seven Deadly Sins Collection that came out last year.
As stated in yesterday's and Tuesday's posts I decided to do a quick mani
showing the different aspects of this polish. I used two coats of China
Glaze Recycle on my index and middle fingers. But I had to change it up with Envy because of it's formula. I used one coat of Nostalgic Nail Lacquer Envy index finger as well as one coat over my middle finger,
applied as three coats over no undies on my ring finger, and one coat on
my pinkie finger no undies.
As you can see the glitter placement with this polish is sparse, very sparse. Think more base than glitter on the brush. My pinkie, though one coat it fishing for glitters and applying them to certain parts of my nail. My index and middle fingers are true one coat application to show the randomness of the polish. Does this mean I don't like it? Nope. Not at all! I still like it because I love the glitters it has! The bars, not so much, but as I have to fish for them that isn't too much of a problem! :) With sparser glitter you can control the density of the glitter!
This glitter is, I believe, but I could be wrong here, a clear base but it looks a bit tinged when you apply 3 coats of it. But as it is more a top coat you don't even notice it as one coat! :) I really like the look of my middle finger, that glitter is just so pretty to me! Oh and my index finger looks like a bunny rabbit what with the two bar glitters crossed like a nose/mouth. :) This is made up of white, black, and green glitters so you can't go wrong with that combo! :)
This polish is unique to my collection!
This polish from what I can tell is not available anymore. Not sure if it was discontinued.
You can buy other awesome polishes when they restock (looks like in April) by visiting Nostalgic Nail Lacquer.
